College Central Library: The Gateway to Knowledge
The central library is the central hub of information, serving as the knowledge center for all students and faculty members. Established in 1986, the central library is dedicated to meeting the informational needs of its users by procuring a diverse range of books and periodicals. With a collection of approximately 18,000 books spanning arts, science, and commerce, the library also features a periodical section that holds around 10 Indian journals and several magazines, providing valuable updates across various disciplines.
To facilitate easy access to its resources, the library offers both a conventional card catalogue and an Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) via KOHA library management software. Additionally, it subscribes to e-resources through UGC-INFLIBNET’s N-LIST programme, granting access to over 6,000 e-journals and 300,000+ e-books.
Students and staff can effortlessly access a wide array of library materials, including books, magazines, journals, dictionaries, encyclopedias, internet resources, and e-resources. The library provides separate seating arrangements for students and staff, ensuring a conducive reading environment.
